Epic Armouryâs Landsknecht Rondel is a solid 46 cm. dagger inspired by the mercenary Landsknechts of the Hansa State era. Whether your LARP-character is a conniving scoundrel who's trade is skulduggery and espionage or simply just a rogue on the run, this dagger is for you. It features a 28 cm blade with a central ridge and a fine wood-like handle protected by a cross guard in the shape of a twisted brass ring. The brass-colored pommel is rounded, designed as a basic interpretation of a knightâs ârondel daggerâ. When fighting enemies close-quarter in heavy plate armor, daggers like this would have been used to force between the joints.
Special care has been taken to ensure that our LARP weapons are safe. This dagger was constructed around a solid fiberglass core and a flexible Kevlar tip to prevent punctures. Its latex finish requires some maintenance to maximize its use and your wellbeing.
