Epic Armoury’s Sallet is a protective helmet with a movable visor closely based on the historical helmet used in 15th century Germany. The visor is reinforced and shaped to fit comfortably around the face while still providing good air flow through its ventilation holes. This helmet is covered with detail that is both beautiful and practical. Wear the visor over the forehead or the face thanks to its flower-decorated hinge, or enjoy the decorative reinforcement plating along the brow. A flexible lobster neck-plate protects the back of the head behind the ears.

Secure the Sallet helmet by tightening the leather strap beneath the chin, keeping the helmet in place. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and leather straps and fittings, this armor piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armor care.
