Cowl Capellus

The Capellus Cowl, made by Burgschneider, is a high medieval everyday garment featuring a short sendelbinde, or short tip, originally worn by hunters, farmers, and travelers for protection from wind and weather. It is closed at the front and made from rough cotton for an authentic look. Despite its historical significance as a men's garment, it remains popular among women, especially in LARP, and is incorporated into many different costume designs.
